At North of Highland Camping Area you can easily walk to the beach and also enjoy a peaceful night's sleep2025 NORTH OF HIGHLAND CAMPING RESERVATION INFORMATION:
Reservations:
We strongly encourage reservations for our Cape Cod campsites during the popular months of July and August, and on holiday weekends.
-
During our “Peak Season” (July 13 through August 16 during 2024) all reservations must be made with arrival dates beginning on SATURDAY or SUNDAY and with departure dates also ending on SATURDAY or SUNDAY only (6-8 nights minimum). Reservations that occur outside of our “Peak Season” are more flexible and can begin and end on any days of the week.
-
There is a 3-night minimum stay required in 2025 from July 1st through July 12.
-
All other reservations require a minimum stay of only 2-nights or longer.
-
Your arrival and departure dates are not “adjustable” once you arrive, so please use care in selecting your reservation dates. There is a $25 Service Charge to change reservation dates once they have been confirmed by our office. Shortening the length of your reservation will be treated as a cancellation and a new booking.
-
Walk-ins may register for any number of nights when they arrive, pending site availability.
-
We welcome you to tell us your individual site preferences for any of our beautiful Cape Cod campsites, and we will attempt to accommodate your preferences when possible. However, please understand that the specific campsite locations are ONLY guaranteed for reserved stays of at least 13 nights or longer. We do not disclose site assignments in advance of arrival for shorter stays as this gives us the flexibility we need in order to best manage all of our reservations together.
-
Please be especially patient when submitting reservation requests during our off-season when the campground office is closed. We process such requests somewhat intermittently as our off-season schedule allows, according to the order in which requests are received. Because our staffing is quite limited when the campground is closed, confirmations or responses may take up to several weeks during those times. We appreciate your patience.
Deposits:
-
A $150 DEPOSIT is required per campsite for most reservations. Two-night reservations, when allowed, require prepaying the base cost for two nights. Reservations of 30 nights or longer require a $250 deposit.
-
Please note that the entire reservation period is a firm commitment to your reserved dates with the full balance payable upon arrival in either cash, traveler’s checks, MasterCard, Visa or Discover cards.
-
Your deposit only holds your reservation for up to 24 hours from your scheduled date of arrival. So, if your arrival is delayed past noon the following day, and you want us to continue to hold one of our Cape Cod campsites aside for you, please contact our office staff immediately to PREPAY this initial portion of your stay, so that we can continue to hold your campsite, otherwise your campsite may not be held past noon. If your plans have changed and you are no longer able to come camping, please let us know right away so that we can make the campsite available for someone else.
-
Personal checks are only accepted for reservation deposits made well in advance. No personal checks can be accepted from outside the U.S. – we suggest using a Postal Money Order in U.S. funds or a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card.
Our Refund Policy:
We cannot guarantee the weather nor the health and personal circumstances of guests. Refunds are only provided for cancellations or changes to arrival or departure dates when they are made well in advance of the scheduled date of arrival as outlined below:
CANCELING a reservation 30 DAYS or more prior to arrival = REFUND MINUS A $25 EARLY CANCELLATION FEE
CANCELING 15-29 DAYS prior to arrival = $50 LATE CANCELLATION FEE
CANCELING LESS than 15 DAYS prior to arrival = LOSS OF DEPOSIT
Shortening your stay constitutes a cancellation of the reservation.
We realize this policy may not be ideal for every guest, so please give consideration prior to making a reservation.
For our guests making the commitment for PERENNIAL RESERVATIONS to have the same site guaranteed year-after-year, any changes in arrival or departure dates or any cancelations of a Perennial Reservation must be made prior to May 1st, otherwise the entire deposit is forfeited.
All reservation policies and cancellation policies are subject to change by management as necessary without prior notice.

You are always welcome to submit your CAMPSITE RESERVATION REQUEST ONLINE.
Our office and management teams handle all reservation requests personally in the order in which they are received. During the summer season when the campground office is fully open (from Memorial Day Weekend until mid-September) you may CONTACT US BY TELEPHONE at (508) 487-1191 for assistance with reservations or for information regarding availability, rates, or other questions.
During the summertime, when making reservations for peak times, or whenever notice is limited, be sure to telephone us in advance to verify that we still have some of our amazing Cape Cod campsites available for your desired reservation dates. We will be happy to assist you.
Whenever the campground is closed for the fall and winter months, reaching us by email or making your reservation requests online is preferred. Please keep in mind that we have very limited office staffing in the off-season. So prior to May, please be especially patient as we will be confirming reservations and answering email inquiries less frequently, as we attend to other off-season campground related projects.
